My friend can't seem to get a clear diagnosis. Here is what she wrote with regards to her symptoms -
These symptoms started in May. It started with involuntary movement of my right arm, elbow and fingers. The locked up and I had severe pain that lasted a few seconds, that happened another 14 times and stopped but the weakness in my arm never went away. Then came the sudden exhaustion, which took me by surprise. It still has not gone away. That’s why I’m on Provigil 200 mg everyday. The spine center got MRI’s done from my brain down to my Sacral spine and found the lesions in my brain that are indicative of MS. I also had lots of blood work and it ruled out Lyme’s Disease. In the meantime, I went to the chiropractor who also reviewed my reports and she told me to see an Endocrinologist because she saw that I had a diffuse thickening in my left adrenal gland. She wants me to check it out because that too can explain my sleep disorder and she saw that I have herniations in my cervical spine which explains the pain in the right arm.
I think this is all so confusing and I'm worried she may get misdiagnosed. Too much going on at once. Any ideas?
