For the last 4 to 5 years i have not been able to be myself and have been preoccupied by symptoms and every time i feel im gonna get help something either changes or i don't get anywhere.

24 yr old male

Overweight and no matter what excercise i do can't lose weight

Extremely oily scalp after an hour of washing it, Scalp gets red and really itchy and have diffuse hairloss, top/back and sides not in a male patterned loss shape.

After an hour of showering i have a smell of off me of poo, i clean myself properly and even if i havent visited the toilet it can still be there.

white spots all over my arms made worse by cold or stress, over the ladt few months they hadn't been appearing much as my new job involves walking for hours and i feel the walking helps my immune system.

I have been off work on holiday for 2 weeks and in those two weeks my scalp has worsened, i feel tired, depressed, scalp getting oilier than usual despite dailly washing and my spots are right out.

It feels like its my immune system as whe none thing worsens the rest worsens too, my asthma has got really bad also, i have used more inhaler this last fornight than months before.

my body just breaks down eveyr now and again even when it has been running we'll for a while.

please who can i see to get to the bottom of this ? my Gp isn't any help and i have explained myself quite well.

  • There could be many things going on, but at the same time all of the symptoms could lead to one diagnosis. The red itchy scalp could be Seborrheic dermatitis Diffuse hair loss could be caused by alopeciaThe smell could mean your suffering from "leaky gut syndrome" or an "intestinal permeability syndrome". Check out these links:http://www.leakygut.co.uk/index.htmhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaky_gut_syndrome For others suffering with the same body odor:http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=30402 ***These are only suggestions to try and help point you in a direction. I do not have medical training.

  • It's time to find another Doctor who will listen and not brush you off, you're the one living like this so don't let them make you feel like it's all in your headPush with another Doctor, if they can't help move onto the next and continue until you get the help and support needed :)Best of luckSamanthahttp://www.undiagnosedillness.org
