My husband had a headache for 1 1/2 days(there is no history of headaches) on the start of the 2nd day the headache was massive and he was takling incoherently. Was taken to ER where a CT scan and a spinal tap were done-both were negative. His condition worsened throughout the day to the point he did not know his name and could not communicate-was in a daze. Neurologists administered a MRI,EEG,chest xray, ultrasound on legs(possible clots)numerous blood tests. All vitals were normal-
We were released and told a stroke was ruled out as well as encephalitis, menengitis, tumor, and several other things. We were told it may be seizures, though not sure what kind, or it could be a migraine. There are still extensve blood tests pending, He will see the neurologist again 2/2/07. There is no explanation for what happened nor can we know if this will happen again. We were at a very reputable hospital -University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Have you heard of these symptoms together & any idea what may have caused the condition

  • :) Your story fits "me" to a tee, with exception of the headaches. It go's like this; following a life of abusing my body with, all those things they advertise on the telly. My wife came home to find me, looking and acting, the same way as your husband. So now, it's off to the hospital. Once there, & i was there for two weeks, & then it was off to therapy, for three weeks. Found out it was my liver. I could go on forever but, who want's to hear the "rest of the story?". My advice is to follow good nutrition, beginning with detoxifying the body. Last but not least, my faith in "***********t", has worked miricles. Good Luck! P.S. Follow all the above, & you'll have your husband back to normal.
