I have been going to doctors for about 4 years now and nobody knows what's going on. I've run up tons of medical bills for no real answers! Please help! I've been losing weight and hair. Handfulls of hair come out everyday while I shower and my double-zero pants are very baggy on me now. I truly am skin n bones now no matter how much I eat and eat!My skin has gotten more pale, am chronically constipated, had anxiety and become depressed, and have mood swings. I have hard times concentrating on things! My memory has also gotten worse. I recently had an abnormal pap smear and found HPV- the gyno said I need to watch it just to make sure it doesn't form into cancer so it's not the std kind (i don't know if that's related but adding it just in case). I am fatigued and weak. When I stand up sometimes, I get a sharp pain in my head, blackout and have to hold on to something on sit down because I feel like I am about to pass out. I recently started getting severe pains in my upper stomach and burning sensation between my belly button and private. My thyroid test always comes back normal. The only thing that has come back positive is my ANA (but my doc said not to worry about it for some reason) and my cholesterol level went up. I am extremely concerned about everything but especially my hair loss, weight loss because it seems to be getting beyond the point!! I had a diagnosis of anxiety/depression for all the symptoms I listed and was given med but it never made a difference. SOMEBODY ANYBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi! Have you been to an Endocronologist, if not I would strongly suggest doing so. Positive ANA and your symptoms, there has to be some Autoamune disease going on. Good Luck!

  • A+ANA should not be overlooked, but it's the titer that really matters(how strongly + the test is).

  • hows your BP?? low?? im wondering why you are blanking out when you stand up. Low BP can cause that or maybe you have Postural orthostatic taccycardia (POTS). POTs can be a condition alone or appear with other conditions. Do you have any sleeping issues eg wake up tired?? Are you symptoms worst after exercise eg post exertional fatigue?

  • My BP has always come back normal. If I exercise, I do not feel fatigued but more energized and refreshed. I do wake up and feel like I didn't sleep at all, no matter how many hours I get. I have wondered about adrenal issues... The past few days, I've had strong pains in my upper stomach area that moves lower and lasts for an hour or two. It's inconsistent but is strong enough that it wakes me up from me sleep.

  • Why is it that doctors are always quick to give us wemon a diagnosis of anxiety, instead of getting to the root of the problem! GEEZE!!! Not knowing what the problem with our body is enough to give anyone anxiety!! They think antidepressents are a cure all! Sorry about the spout! I feel for you. Try a vitamin screen, see about your b12, D, and iron. Especially b12.. Take care

  • You might want to get a second opinion and go in twice a year for a pap. The sooner they treat it via freezing or whatever, the sooner your cervix would return to normal. Other than glandular, do you work around x-rays or in a nuclear power plant? If not, I would see an endocrinologist and get a second opinion re the hpv.

Makes me wonder if something like sleep apnea is PART of your issue (obviously not the whole issue but sleep apnea causes that symptom along with several of your other ones). Do you snore?????

    8 Surprising Facts About Cholesterol

Did you know that one in six US adults has high cholesterol?

  • Sounds like adrenal fatigue. I'd say get tested for allergies and food intolerances. My family has an issue with grains and they have caused adrenal fatigue consistantly. Eliminating all grains expecially corn (hidden in most foods, corn dervied additives) got rid of a lot of issues for us.

  • Feel for you.Have a look at this link and read around the subject. I had a chronic illness that nobody could sort for me for 18 months and then I started following the advice here - I didn't have much faith, but within a few weeks I was starting to feel better and within a couple of months I was not only better but bounding with energy. You'll find a lot of people have similar storieshttp://www.markusrothkranz.com/markus_health.html (this is a bit glitzy, but got me started and all I can say is I haven't been ill since.)http://www.ultrawellnesscenter.com/
