In May of 2007, I was sick with extreme fatique and a fever. I went into the clinic. They prescribed Doxycyline for 11 days for tick fever. I took it and began to feel better. Since about late June, I have had spells of feeling tired and just overall bleh about every 3-4 weeks. In November, I began having severe joint pain with the spells. The doctors have tested for all the tick illnesses, rabbit fever, connective tissue disorders, and the CBC came out fine. I am a young female and it doesn't seem to be connected to my periods. Someone did suggest iron defiency. Does anybody have any ideas?

  • Research Lyme disease. Read all the posts on these boards. There seems to be a lot of false/negative problems.

  • I would agree. Lyme disease cannot be cured in 11 days, most patients are on antibiotics for 3 months!
