My name is Jess, and I'm very confused. I am a 16-year old girl who is obese. Although I am obese I enjoy being active, walking, playing DDR, and my heart rate is average for my age. I never experience problems with activity, so long as it isn't running. When I run, however, it only takes a short time before I get severe chest pain coupled with lower jaw pain. It's only my lower jaw, but it feels like it's on fire and being frozen at the same time. I always have to stop, sit/lay down, and the pain goes away in 5-10 minutes. After that, I feel relativly fine. My family has a history of ashma, but I've never been tested and I don't think that's it. I don't stop breathing, my chest just hurts. A lot. Does anyone know what's going on?
