My last neurologist said, "sorry, I have no idea." Obviously I haven't been back to him.

Here are my symptoms:
R leg numbness knee down
R thigh pain/ache dull sensation
R leg has "gone out" from under me due to numbness : symptom occurs mainly when walking/standing for short periods of time somewhat relieved when squatting or bending over
both hands experience numbness : note: diagnosed with carpal tunnel from last neuro even though was a stay at home mom for 7 years prior with no reason for carpal tunnel could not find any diagnosis for legs going numb (this was 2 years ago) Symptoms have been present for 3+ years.
Now experiencing vertigo with multiple times where I have felt like I was passing out but didn't (3x/mo)
Chronic LBP with mild stenosis/osteoarthritis
overweight female 37

I'm very frustrated. If someone could offer some input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • It's way past time you have MRIs of your back and brain.

  • MRI of back just over a year or so ago just showed the mild joint problems(osteoarthritis/mild stenosis) no MRI of brain in 10+ years forgot about these: unable to think of the names of common items "hence most now commonly referred to as thing-a-ma-bobs-LOL"mild pain in neck/shoulder area; some intermittent numbness between r shoulder blade Thanks- husband seems to think it's just cause i'm overweight. I don't think he's right.

  • that's a pretty high disage of effexor, and might account for the brain fog, vertigo and weakness, but I still think you should have a brain mri

  • Could be the meds. Check the meds that can also cause LBP...they might be causing that, too...I would suggest a good chiropractor and a stress test.
