my partner - a 35 year old man, normally healthy - has been really struggling with a digestive problem for the last 6 weeks. He is in constant pain with bloating/gas/cramps, even though he is living on super plain food like rice, bananas etc. He has lost 10kgs, can't sleep, is getting random stabbing pains in the upper right side of his chest, pins andneedles in his hands, and a sore back.
I know this is an extremely long and varied list of symptoms but if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated!!
He has had several rounds of blood tests which have come back clear.
One other thing - doctor said yesterday he should avoid carbs to limit the bloating - I thought foods like rice would actually be best? Am I wrong?
Thanks in advance!!
