I came home from work yesterday and after doing some chores sat for a moment and went to get up and my ankle almost gave way. It's numb, at first i thought I stepped on something because it seemed to ache on the bottom right above my heel pad. Well after inspection there is nothing there not even a red mark, I thought again that maybe a spider bite or something, I've had them in the past and got sick. today I wake up and my entire ankle is numb and if I press it, it actually aches some, there is absolutely no swelling or discoloration anywhere, no bruising....and it's not like a twisted ankle or anything....it's just strangely numb and seems to be moving upwards. I did have exploratory knee surgery last December and I have rhuematoid arthritis in my shoulders. I also have Tinea...or better known as ringworm which i'm treating with lotrimin and it is almost gone..unfortunately i'm flying to Florida tomorrow for vacation and my medical insurance doesn't start until April 1st. Anyone have any ideas on whether this sounds important enough to warrant a visit to the doctor before I go on vacation...:confused:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
