I have been in terrible pain. Due to a bad injury to my right knee I have a permanent limp and only full weight bear on the left leg. I slipped down the stairs and banged the left archilles tendon against concrete about 6 months ago. Three months later I rolled the left foot and sprained the ankle. My problem is, there is a lump on the archilles, it goes red alot, the ankle is swollen and I keep getting very painful shooting pains around the ankle, heel and the calf muscle which is very tight. Even while sleeping the pain wakes me up and I can feel hot sensations running around the foot. The ankle and archilles are still swollen. I have had continuous deep tissue massage for 3 months, and I feel its getting worse. I am now in constant pain. Anybody got any ideas as to what is wrong? One doctor said archilles tendonitis, another said bad ankle sprain, another said both conditions. Thanks alot.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
