I’m a 22 Year old Female, 5’7 and I am between 95 to 100 lbs. For the past year if not longer I’ve felt like crap.
These are my symptoms.
Fingers and toes always tingle
Weak, dizzy and I feel like I need to faint all the time.
Only my Gums hurt and they bleed.
I’m extremely pale, people actually ask me if I’m sick because of it.
I always have a headache, my eyes always hurt.
I always want to sleep and lay day
I’m out of breath quite a bit for no reason. My husband always ask me why are you breathing so hard? After just drinking water
I always have to drink water to ***m myself so I won’t faint or become dizzy.
I don’t have an appetite. I eat once a day very little and I always feel like I need to vomit after wards.
I almost forgot, I have a TON of grey hair.
I bruise and scar really easy now.
The big thing is I’m always tired and because of it I can’t think straight. I never have the energy to go out. I feel so horrible and a 22 year old shouldn’t feel like an old person. If I’m not anemic than what else could this be? I see Military doctors and I had them test me for Diabetes last month (june 16th) and I still haven’t gotten those results and I’ve been trying for 2 weeks.
My Grandpa died from being anemic I think, there is a strong history of it on my dad’s side of the family as well as Diabetes. I just found out Sickle Cell runs in my family after two of my nephews were born with it. I don’t think My grandpa had Sickle Cell though. He died at a very young age though. I believe he was in his 50’s. He died when my Dad was a teen or in his early 20’s. because I know it runs in the family could it be a possibility I have it? I’m not sure if genetics have anything to do with it.
I have a Doctors Appt. on the 21st to talk to a DR about this and to get tested to see if I’m anemic, but I have a feeling they aren’t going to take me serious. The last Dr. actually teased me about my weight saying do you have Parasites and he laughed out loud.
If It’s not anemia what else could it be so I can ask the Dr to run these test on me to find out what’s wrong, I just want to get back to my old self.
P.S. I almost forgot, I've had my thyriod tested a couple times. The last time I was 20 because I thought this could have caused my weight issue and they said the test came out fine.
