Hi, I am a healthy 26 yr old male with no previous history of any serious health concerns, however recently i have started to get a really itchy **m. It happens consistantly through the day not really at any specific time. I eat a balanced diet and have no previous allergys or intolerances to foods. I find i pass stools around 3 times a day and they are ok in consistancy/colour and there is never any blood or anything unusual in them. I do have small cuts around my anus at times but i think i had these before i started itching, these cuts are minute however do hurt sometimes especially with excessive wiping. I have checked stools and anus for signs of worms and have never seen anything. I am quite embarrassed to go to a doctor so hope you can help. anonymous.

  • Try carrying around some Tucks whipes or pads. Love em. I have a similar problem and it's simply related to a tiniest bit of leakage. Itches like you can't imagine (well, maybe you can). Using the tucks pads after a movement helped me.

  • You need to go see a doctor, dont be ashamed at all of going into a doctors office and asking whats going on. Doctors see so many things daily that they honestly arent going to judge you. Doctors are there to help you... thats why they became doctors. You are going to have to get a doctor to look at the area and get a history from you to figure out what is going on, what is causing it and how to solve the problem. A list of symptoms on here and your own visual examination is not enough to provide a resolution because what may be normal for you may not look so normal to a doctor. They go through extensive schooling and training for a reason and Im sure you wont be the first person to ask the doctor about an itchy **m so please just go in, get them to have a look and then you can go from there.
