Hi, im a 21 year old male.
I have had a problem for about 2 maybe three years now, where i get really hot and start sweating usually after drinking water or eating food. Also when i lay in bed with my girlfriend her body heat seems to make mine go up and ill start sweating and giving off more heat than i can stand and i have to remove the blanket from me, while my gf will say she is freezing cold. it doesnt make any sense. i have yet to go to the doctors because i dont have health insurance just wondering if anyone has any idea what this may be. i have been told its most likely hyperthyroidism. I was told that because i cant gain weight as well. i eat a lot. i consume more calories than i burn for sure yet i cant seem to gain any weight i have been 130 since i was 16 and i have progressively eaten more and more to try and gain weight. im starting to worry i will never gain weight or be able to control my temperature. also really hot showers bother me my skin is VERY sensitive. even to the touch its very sensitive.
