Hi, I'm actually posting on behalf of my boyfriend. 3-4 times daily he will have a very unpleasant taste in his mouth which will disappear after 30-40 seconds. Seems to be unrelated to eating / drinking, although often directly after the episode his stomach will be churning. This first started approx 5 years previously (he is 26 & otherwise well), & does not seem to have progressed. Since the condition has not progressed he has not worried about diagnostics; however any ideas about possible cause would put my mind at ease!
