I'm 22 yrs old and been drinking for the last year. The previouse year i did not drink much (1-2 times a week) but since June of 2007 I have been drinking almost everyday (4-6 times a week) for a period of 3.5months. Now sometimes i will leave some traces of greyish/greenish/darkish types of stools.
I read that this could be from drinking alcohol to much. I also at times have a problem of keeping "it" up when im not really in the mood. This can be cause from alcohol to i read.
My question is........Even though i excersise a lot and eat a healthy diet but did drink heavely for the last 4 months, do I have a damaged liver? My stools dont have a foul smell and they are mostly brown. Im just wondering before this case gets worst.

  • Do you drink until you become drunk? I think you may need AA and a doctor. Also, are you drinking because you are thirsty? Get checked for diabetes.

  • Most of the time i do drink until i get drunk but thats cuz i like the buzz. No i dont drink b/c im thristy. After doing my own research online im pretty much scared to drink and feel that i dont need to drink, which is working out for me. I've been only drinking for the last past year and a half. I was just concerned about my health. I appreciate your reply though, thanks.
