For over two years I have suffered with tinea cruris (jock itch). However, two Dr. visits and over $1000 later (3 lamisil prescriptions and a topical prescription and otc medication) has not cured the disease. I am making another Dr appointment, but was wondering if it is possible this could be something other than a simple case of jock itch. Since taking the lamisil I have noticed a dull ache in my lymph nodes (groin mostly) as well as a dull ache in my left kidney area. I am a little concerned that maybe something else is going on since this strong medicine (lamisil) did not cure the disease. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • For the itch, safest and most effective is applying colloidal silver (carried in distilled water). Otherwise, antiseptic baby powder. Wear wide boxer underpants. Try Dove soap from Germany. For other problems I have just found this useful site: www.westonaprice.org/splash_2.htm especially www.westonaprice.org/askdoctor/ - look for GOUT there, it explains about uric acid and helping the kidneys with vitamin A etc. I wrote different ideas that worked for myself and others at http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=14299 - post numbers 2 and 6. It works, but I will now have to bring in modern ideas from the westonaprice site. We need to learn much and then make our own plan.
