Hello my name is Michael 8 years ago i suffered a vicious attack where i was attacked with a screwdriver 11 times on the left side of my brain 1 went into my left eye and into my brain well ever since i have had loads of problems anxiety, depression, PTSD, blackouts, seizures, mood swings, voilent rages,memory loss most of the time i have to have someone to help me to write fill forms in even remember what word i need to use as i dont know anymore, i cant remember peoples names who i have known for years i can start a conversation then forget what i was talking about i do not sleep for days then i can sleep for 2 days solid, my body shakes all the time, im a danger to myself and for that reason im never on my own my partner is here with me 24/7 im also terrified she going to leave me cos of my mood swings are often taken out on her im scared to leave house, Anyway the problem im having is i have now finally had a MRI scan and CT scans done on my head and when i went to see the neaurologist he told me the left side of my brain is shrinking (what does this actually mean) to be honest what he said after that is a blur i can remember them ruling out epeilepsy im so scared i want to end my life cos living like this i havent got 1 i just want to know whats wrong with me and can it be dealt with im due to go for heart monitors fitted in sept and an utlrasound of my heart day after, any advice is apprecciated at the moment i feel like im going mad as i ask people same thing over and over even though they answered me but i forget recent things but i can still remember a lot about beeing a teenager in 41 nowReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
