I was really sick in 2006, regularly going to the doctors over bruising, rash fatigue, temperatures and leg pain in my right leg..I was constantly told that it was a virus, and that it would go away and that the pain in my leg is from the virus, but the symptoms still persisted and I just had to live with it as all my blood tests were normal (only low iron)

Then in mid 2007, I started getting sicker, constantly bruising, feeling very fatigued, I was breaking out in spots all over my stomach and back, I'd wake up in night sweats (my shirts very damp from sweating) feeling very fatigued as if I was going to be sick, I'd then get these weird hot flushes, my whole body would heat up, my face would be completely withdrawn, and I'd go very pale. This would happen 3-4 times in a week.

Then one day I got a really sore throat, and nothing could eliviate the pain, it felt as if my sore throat was coming from my voice box, deeper down then the back of my throat. I tried lozengers, and natural remedies but nothing would get rid of it.
I then noticed glands up in my neck, they were really big, 5 of them on the left side of my neck under my jaw.. I just thought they were lymphnodes swelling due to my throat being sore. I went to see the doctor rather concerned about my sore throat, and other symptoms and he noticed my throat was rather red, but also said my symptoms could viral and that it will go away, he felt my glands, and said to come back in a month if they had grown.. he took some blood tests to check everything which showed my white cells were up, and that my potassium levels were low, but he didn't seem too concerned either.
So I decided to go and see another doctor who was concerned about my symptoms and that I still had a temperature, sore red throat, spots, fatigue, night sweats etc. He took some bloods and a throat swab, the blood tests showed normal level of white cells, however my glands are still large and up, my potassium level was low again, my folate level was low, my phosp level was high and my rheumatoid factor was high. My throat swab was normal.

He was not happy with my results and said my temperature was important and very significant to my health so he is sending me to a specialist to further investigate what is going on..

I really need to find out what is going on!
So if anybody could help me out with what this could be, so I can ask the specialist questions and be more informed about the possibilities of what this is, then that would be great.

My doctor says my blood tests have been really weird.. but I don't understand anything about Potassium, Folate or Rheumatoid factor activity. How do the levels affect your health?
What are the possibilities of illness when this happens?
