Advice for rectal perspiration?

For the past year or so I have had a very uncomfortable, and most of the time wet, feeling around my rectum. This uncomfortable feeling occurs almost 24/7, even if I have just previously showered/cleaned myself. The fluid is clear, I've never seen any yellow/green/brown colors and when I wipe nothing shows up on the cloth. The smell on the cloth is close to that of sweat, but I don't believe that it's as simple as a sweaty rectum. I've had a foreign object inside of my anus before, it was a plastic rod that I unfortunately fell on one day while goofing around with some friends...I felt a slight pinch inside as though the rod might of hit something, but I've never had any blood come from my rectum, or had any bloody stool. I am 21 yrs old, I've been diagnosed with prostatitis by two different doctors, and I am currently taking medication for that...however my doctors don't quite know what the wetness is coming from...who should I go see next? a proctologist? dermatologist? I haven't been sick, no vomiting or anything, it's just a burden that's been stressing me out basically since the beginning. any info would be greatly appreciated.

  • my grandfather had a wet feeling also and clear liquid when he passed gas just a few days ago...he went to the dr. and the dr. said it could be an infection in the lower intestions. he ordered a cat scan and a colonoscopy. dont know if that is any help to you or not but just wanted to pass along the info.
