My father (60 years) has this strange pain problem with his thumbs in both hands. The pain started first with one hand thumb now he is suffering with both hands thumbs. Normally he is ok but if something touch the spots just behind his thumb nails he cries like a baby. It is unbearable pain. We have been to many doctors but no use. Please help the old man.

Just to add he is also suffering from frequent urination problem.

  • Chances are good he has too much acid, causing gout and bladder problems. It can be that painful! Please see my responses here, posts number 2 and 6 - http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?p=41010#post41010 - here in ZA the doctors don't know about it either.
