Over the last 6 weeks I am having periodic episodes of a sharp neck pain.
The pain always occurs on the right side and lasts for a brief second to as long as 20 seconds. I can go for weeks without having any pain and then it will return. It can occur anytime of day or night and has jolted me out of a sound sleep. The pain is localized and does not radiate into shoulder or face.

Try taking prilosec and see if it goes away. it worked for me (until I quit taking prilosec) now it is back!-Mandy
