I am getting acute chest pain when I am at rest. I get the pain mainly when I am lying down on my back or side. It has not happend in a while but now it is happening more often. My doctor did a blow into the pipe test i got about 550 for that and I am being sent for chest xray. Can anyone help me further?

With Thanks

  • Get a chest xray ASAP. You might have a pneumothorax which in your case would be a partial collapse of a lung.

  • My Doctor did say that it was the lung getting trapped between the rib and muscle and what was that thing you said?/
