Aching Arms and leg

I've suffered for about 2 years with random leg ache from the hip downwards, one side only and arm / shoulder ache. Have had blood tests and hip xray but nothing came from that. occasional pins and needles at night for no apparent reason. My arms frequently and ache, again no good reason. I wonder if I could have poor circulation. No other family has these symptoms though some do have restless leg syndrome. Feel like I'm wasting doctors time as there seems to be nothing wrong when I'm examined. Or am I losing my mind?

  • Do not give up. Has your doctor referred you over to a RHeumatlogist? Sorry I really don;t know much about what is going on in exacts but I can say it took a long time before I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Just be sure you have a doctor who listens and exhausts every possible outlook for yu to find out what is wrong.

  • Thank you so much, I've never heard of this condition before but thanks to you I've looked it up on the fmauk.org website and found very useful information. I fit the gender and age profile and have many though not all of the symptoms. I can see there's some controversy that goes with it too! Do you find that it gets worse when you are stressed? I have certainly found it's linked to stressful events over the past few years.
