I've been experiencing a dull ache while sitting for several months. It started out every 3-4 days, but now is daily. I'm also feeling a tingling sensation at times. Had an x-ray, colonoscopy and visited a urologist with no luck in determining what it is. The fact that is progressively getting worse is alarming. I'm even starting to feel discomfort while walking. It doesn't appear to affect my bowel movements, but there are times when the pain is worse right after one. The tingling just recently started. Any ideas?

  • May be your coccyx, which is a pretty small bone at the base of your tailbone - way down at the bottom. If you sit on a small round tube and feel some relief that would be a good indicator that it is the coccyx. Find a good chiropractor that others recommend. And ask him if he or she has experience adjusting the coccyx from outside the body. I learned to do it that way and have used it on a number of patients with good to excellent results. Good luck

  • Any sexual encounters before this all happened? If so, get a blood test for herpes 2.
