I started about 3-4 weeks ago with dizzyness and aches. About a week later I became tachycardic (resting HR was about 120), was unable to sleep and generally felt unwell.
I had bloods at that point and had a WCC of 12.5 and a raised ALT of 95. My blood screen showed a left shift of neutrophils, some atypical lymphocytes, occasional metamyelocytes. Negative Paul Bunnell. And a scan showed mild splenomegaly. Normal ECG
Now, 2 weeks later, I have been very tired and still am. I have a slight cough, but the night sweats have stopped and my temperature is back to 36 degrees ( normal for me). But, my WCC is no 15.3, ESR is 53, CRP 15 and Albumin is 30. Lymphoctyes 11. Blood screen shows a few reactive lymphocytes and some smear cells.
HR is now 80-100 resting but as soon as I move goes up to about 110-120. Spleen is larger. Paul Bunnell again negative.
I am waiting for my doctor to get back to me, but I've convinced myself I have something horrible like endocarditis ( was diagnosed with a heart murmur as a teenager, but no problems), lymphoma or leukaemia.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be going on please? I'm rather concerned. Thank you
