Hi,

Hope someone can help me out here, okay I just had a Colonoscopy done and the Doc. said the it was normal but he couldn't get to a part of my colon. So, he ordered me Cat Scan of my abdomen, and the nurse said the that there were 2 areas of my colon where it's "Folding or Overlapping itself". Can anybody tell what that means? I'm still waiting on my stupid insurance to approve of the M2A Capsule Endoscopy procedure. I've had bad stomach problems for 11 years now, and just now finally found somethin. If anybody can me out, Much Much Aprreciated...
Thanks, Rob

  • It means what it says;the colon is the last part of our digestive tube,it is about 1.5 m long and it seems that it may fold or overlap it self inside our abdomen cavity. You`re lucky that you still have a good transit, because lack of intestinal transit it`s a dangerous complication

  • Rob,I have tried to draw a picture of what I think they mean, but I don't know how serious it is to have such a fold. Maybe someone else knows more. Good luck!

  • Hi, Thanks for the replies, I would just wonder what I'll have to do after my Capsule Endscopy procedure. Like, either the bareum enema or surgery. Has anyone else had these procedures or problems like this?
