2 months ago, I started to get diarrhea constantly and then in the following weeks I started feeling nauseous all the time, for the first few hours of the day I was fine then I started to feel horrible. I then started to get abdominal pains. I went to the doctors and I had a stool sample and blood tests. These all came back negative, but I'm not entirely sure what all the blood tests were for as there were five or six tests and I think they were all diet related. The doctor gave me Immodium which I took for a couple of weeks, it stopped me from having diarrhea but I still went to the toilet every day. After I got the results of the blood test I stopped feeling nauseous, however my abdominal pains continued.
I should also mention that at the time of visiting the doctors where I was prescribed Immodium, I found that my testicles had started to feel different in size, as well as feeling firmer.
Until a week ago I was feeling much better, but now my testicles ache, which comes and goes. The stomach pains have returned and I get various aches all over my body (jaw, and arms mainly. As well as a tingling feeling in my fingers). My throat had felt sore for a while, but I also have some pains there. I don't feel nauseous, but I can only really describe it as feeling unwell.
I just don't know at this time whether all my pains are induced myself through worrying? I tend to jump to the worst conclusion and I really don't know whether anything is linked, or actually natural. I felt better after the results from the blood test. And I don't feel as bad as I did before, just the pains are worse. I had diarrhea a few days this week too but it seems to have reversed now and I'm slightly constipated.
The ultrasound for my testicles is this monday, so I don't know whether I'll feel better afterwards if nothing is wrong?
I'm just not sure as to whether you can cause that much harm to yourself through stress/worry or whether I do actually have something wrong with me.
I'd appreciate any help if anyone has ever felt very ill due to stress etc.
