Hiya. I still don't have a diagnosis. I have had an ultrasound and C.T scan and they can't find anything. a blood test has come back with no reaction to wheat but I figure this has to be muscular or dietary related. on and off but pretty much for 98% of the time for the last two weeks I have pain near my belly button. If I put my index finger in my belly button and pinch with my thumb I can pinch where the pain is most of the time. It is like a dull burning pain but after the dull burning pain has been there for a while it can feel bruised and sore to touch. This has nearly always been exclusive to the right side of my abdomen. but did actually move over to the left yesterday and now the left side feels bruised. It feels like the pain is very near to the surface of the skin and can move round from near the belly button to the right side above my right hip and below my rib cage. It also occasionally moves to my lower right back. At night it seems better depending on which position I lie in. Could I have done this in the gym? My instructor doesn't think so. If anything I think eating seems to make it better in the very short term. It is really starting to worry me. Should I avoid the gym? If this was a really bad muscle injury how long would it take to go away?
