  • My 8 year old daughter is having the same symtoms for almost a month. We just went to the ER yesterday. They did very little to help us. They did an x-ray, sonogram of her adominal area and organs, and blood test. Everything was normal. We have an appointment with a ped gastrologist on Aug 1. I hope she can make it until then. My advice would be to push the doctors to send you to a specialist ASAP. If you figure anything out, please let me know, and I will do the same. Thanks!

  • My daughter is 3 years old. About 5 weeks ago she came down with sporatic vomiting and diahrea. No other symptoms to report with it. Loss of appetite obviously..and very tired near the 19 day span that it lasted for. She had 2 visits to our family doctor and they wanted a stool sample, but then it cleared up and we thought everything was fine and we could put it behind us as a strange virus. 3 weeks passed and she was fine til all of a sudden, she vomitted again last night and twice today. So here we are again. Diahrea as well with the vomit. I am going to make an appointment with a pediatrician on monday. I really can't figure out what could be causing this for my little girl. Please let me know if you guys figure anything out. Thanks and hope things get better for your girls.

  • my daughter is 11 and also has stomach pain. Weight loss and appeite loss too. However, no vomiting or diaherra...she has had GI work up and nothing came of it. Doctors do not think it is eating disorder. Let me know if you all find anything and i wil too...good luck.

  • My 3 year old is doing much better, after trying to keep her off solids entirely for a few days, it seems that she has come around. It looks as if it was viral this time. At least I hope. Her daycare provider came down with flu like symptoms as well over the weekend so that is promising too. We had her at the drs. on sunday at urgent care. I have come to the conclusion that all doctors are useless A-holes. I can diagnose my child with a book better than a doctor can with a degree. If you need help for your child, skip the family doctor and go directly to a pediatrician because anything in between will just push drugs on your children. Hope all is well with all of your other little ones. Take care..Justin
