hi everyone,i have had severe adbo pain for a few months now,drs have done routine bolod tests and a lower ultrasound scan on my pelvis but all results were normal. the pain has now spread and feels sharp around my ribs. i have irregular periods and have had numerous abnormal smears. had a coloscopy but they said everything was fine,no treatment needed. i also have the hpv virus. my dr said no more tests could be done and gave me some pain killers with no explanation. anyone have any ideas or experiencing anything similar. i am worried. thanks gem.

  • oh my you sound like me now only I dont have the hpv virus and i'm male, drs are useless, i had numerous tests even laproscopic surgery(explotory) turns out I had accseorry speens and enlargen limpnods outside my colon(all benine) which were causing me alot of abdominal pain, but that was only the beginging I also have gastrist and gerd I also have lost close to 100 pounds without trying. Doctors still dont have a clue on whats going still running tests, you may want to look into having laproscopic surgery or ,maybe its your hpv virus acting up i read that it can turn to cervical cancer, pain can radiate from more than one place. You could even have whats known as espasmic esphosicas, that can be detected through a hp test. I hope i've been helpful, and do be careful with the pain killers.
