I am a 27 female who had been sexually active for some time with the same partner. I have been having frequent yeast infections and am afraid i have been misdiagnosed. Several time ive been to the doctor's/gyn and still this keeps occurring....i am not sure it is a yeast infection..they seem to get worse each time and im not sure that it has gone away either after taking the antibiotics they give me. I have an unusual discharge that now has blood (or so I belive it is blood) a dark reddish brown in it, and sharp abdominal pain. I feel lethargic and have sensitivity after and before intercourse. I feel like i have to urinate frequently. there is no burning or itching. i have a high tolerance for pain, so im worried ive overlooked sumthing that someone else may not have? i have stopped eating sugary foods and do not do oral sex or take baths anymore...but it is back again! who should i go see? what kind of tests should i ask for? my sister was diagnosed with an ovarian disease a few months ago and cancer runs on both sides of my family. should i tell this to my gyn/doctor? last and not least i have been having either no period at all for lengths of time up to 9mths and sometimes one or two mths apart. my period is very abnormal and has been for several years now. r these things related?
