Hello All,

I guess I should start from the beginning. . .

I am a slightly overweight male, 27 years of age. I am 6'1, 205lbs and live my life in an office. Half a year ago I started getting tingling sensations in both my legs at the onset of sleep, which I never experienced before. The quick development of these sensations left me fatigued in the morning, all attributes of anxiety and lack of sleep. After a month of in and out of sleep study's, the Doctor prescribed me a low centimeter (8cm) CPAP.

That was half a year ago - During those six months I was experiencing other things - Chronic heartburn, chronic light brown to yellow stools, slight discomfort on my left side under the rib cage. I used to have healthy stools, but now I can't seem to remember what a healthy stool is!

Last night, while on my CPAP, I started having shallow breathing symptoms again, extreme fatigue, leg weightlessness feeling, general lethargic feelings - I woke up with mild abdominal pains on my left side and eventually shook it off and went back to sleep (still with the tingling sensations down both my legs).

Moving on to today. I woke up around 1pm, felt extremely fatigued like I couldn't move - Wife eventually forced me to move - As usual, I felt a slight vertigo when standing up (slowly standing up), and went to the computer for morning rituals of email and facebook. An hour past, it's now 2pm, and I needed to use the restroom. When the stool passed I noticed black specs in my stool. Keep in mind, I have had these symptoms on and off over the past half year. After further evaluation of the stool and having to twig off the black specs, I noticed it was the onions I had for dinner last night.

So! Over the past 6 months, I have had the following. Upper Endoscopy, Upper Barium Test, UltraSound, Barium Enema, Blood Tests for basic metabolic panels - All. . . normal????

I still have extreme fatigue, abdominal tenderness on ribcage, can't digest hulls of vegetables, yellow loose stool, a lot of diarrhea (which on occasion can be brown), black specs in stool(which is not from pepto)......and all around lethargy! But they can't find anything? 6 months ago I could run a bike marathon! Today I can't even run a mailbox marathon without wanting more sleep. Please help :\

Please help :\I am sure you heard this one before, but it sounds like some of this can be caused by anxiety. But, for the sake of it not being anxiety related, have your Doctor check thyroid functions and insist a colonoscopy. Also it might not be a bad idea to have your Doctor check Liver Enzymes, Pancreatic Enzymes, along with Bilirubin. You mentioned chronic heartburn which I can only guess toppled with endless amounts of antacids, can cause diarrhea. If you smoke, quit. Smoking seems to be everyones hidden factor for long-term fatigue. You don't sound like your completely overweight, but every pound lost will help your energy level, tremendously.Good Luck!
