I have had skin abcesses since i was a child. I was covered in them every summer of my childhood and suffered thru them being lance my entire life. Since i was about 15 I have only had a couple a year. Suddenly, now that I am 40 I get about one to two per month. When they take a week to get ready to lance and a week to heal that pretty much takes care of the month. Doctors don't really try to diagnose the cause they just lance them. When I ask what causes them they never really have an answer so let me explain the issue. I have these hard spots (doctors call them cysts) in different places on me. Eventually, they abcess. Can someone - any one please give me an idea of what to be tested for? They are very painful and I am tired of living with this horribly disgusting problem. I would believe MRSA or something like that but I've never been without this problem.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
