I'm a 24yr old male and I had my inguinal hernia (left side) repaired a month ago and I'm still having pain/discomfort in that area. The swelling is almost completely gone, altough the wound area still feels numb. I'm not doing any hard work, mostly sitting and lying while studying. I also feel gassy a lot of the time and been having some bowel pain, but my stool is normal. I had these problems before the surgery as well. The pain is exactly under the incision, but could it be that the pain is not from the hernia, but from something else, colon perhaps?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
