It all started a year ago.

Chest pains constantly, followed by excruitating leg pains, then seizures that an EEG couldn't pick up, headaches, my heart suddenly got way too slow and my blood sugar dropped dramatically, I've been having involuntary movements all over my body, my muscles keep becoming rigid/tremors and sometimes spaz out, dramatic emotional breakdowns, massive weight loss, my coordination is horrible, and just a few days ago my throat got all swollen and red and my neck became sore to the touch. I can barely swallow or talk. It hurts to breathe and yawn.

My doctors don't know what to do or what to test me for. They just tell me, 'It's nothing.' or 'Take some pills and you'll get better.'. All of the pills I've tried and what they've prescribed me isn't working at all.

What am I to do? :(

  • I would like to add that I've been having weird moments where I collaspse and I'm on the floor and I can't move for a couple of minutes because I can't feel any part of my body, I've been hallucinating lately, and my appetite has been very poor lately. Sorry for not adding it on with the last post.

  • When you say your throat got swollen.. do you mean it swelled up from the outside of your body???? Was there any event before this all occurred which could of triggered this illness? ..... i suggest for you to watch out for info coming out on the recently discovered retro gamma virus XMRV .. as that virus is starting to be connected to quite a few different illnesses eg atypical MS, some autism cases, CFS in 80%, fibromyalgia, some cases of bipolar.. It is possible it may be causing your symptoms (as many of your symptoms are like CFS/ME ones so it seems like it can cause those kind of symptoms). When tests become public for it.. i suggest you get tested.

Before this all started happening, I was perfectly healthy.

  • If you also have fatigue (severe at times) and concentration and memory issues.. i then suggest for you to watch the following utube video http://www.youtube.com/user/kaazoom Its one i know who has ME (subgroup of CFS but much more neurological). He gets most of the same symptoms as you and if you watch some of his videos you can see that.

My doctors never suggested it...

  • I suscribed to his videos long ago while this was happening to me. I felt like I was looking at myself watching him. He's just started on a ME treatment recommended by many ME/CFIDS specialists and is amazed as its really helping him A LOT, (which i think further confirms he has got ME.. he's always been doubtful of that diagnoses but i have ME and at times have those same symptoms as him). The med called Clonazepam (also called Rivotril or Klonopin). In ME/CFIDS it helps to slow down an overactive nervous system hence can help symptoms. I strongly suggest for you to see if you can convince a doctor to give you some as it may help your tremors, seizures and the body spazzing out. I too found that med to help. It also helps the brain too (stops it racing and other things). Not all with the original kind of ME (old defination of it) get fatigue.. some just get a lot of weakness and other symptoms thou fatigue is often very common in it. (I nowdays dont get much fatigue at all with it.. its all the other symptoms of it which hit me... years back thou i did get a lot of fatigue with it)
