Hi everybody, I've just joined in the hope somebody will help with my problem. Before I start with my boring problem I wish you and your family good health for the future. Now a brief history of my pains.
I am 54 years old. I am generally in good health with the exception of worn discs (One was removed 6 years ago) and kidney problems. The last surgery I had was on the left kidney, the procedure involved cutting away the narrowing section of the tube from the left kidney to the bladder.
The pains I'm suffering are in the testicles, groin and lower back. This has been consistent for the last 7 years. My doctor is puzzled and all tests have proved fruitless. The only time time I felt relief was on 2 occasions for a period of around 2-3 weeks. This was when on 2 occasions I had stent inserted into the tube between the left kidney and bladder, the time the stent was present in my body was absolute ***l and the pain was still present. But as soon as the stent was removed I felt like a new man, I'm talking about instant relief, but as I said it only lasted a couple of weeks.
I now had some MRI and Isotopes done and am waiting to see my doctor with the results. I've got private health and the doctor I'm seeing has a very good reputation. In fact this is what worries me, is my problem such that it can never be detected/diagnosed? 7 years of no quality of life is long enough, has anybody had a similar experience is there anything anybody can recommend? I'm desperate.
