Here's my history:
7/07 - Circulation problems in right hand, arteriogram and 4 days hospital stay (not sure if this has anything to do with current pain, but is on the same side)
11/07 - Severe pain in lower right abdomen. Went to ER, blood good, urine good, CT Scan shows infection in ascending colon and possibly a small confined perforation. Admitted to Hospital for 4 days, no food for 3 then starches, then low fiber. Levaquin & Flaygl were presecribed.
11/07 - After 1st round of Levaquin & Flagyl were prescribed the pain came back, 2nd dose of same prescribed for another 10 days.
Dec, Jan, Feb - I stuck to a starch diet, no fruit or veggies, nothing with seeds. Pain persisted so they did another CT Scan - Cyst on righ ovary showed up, nothing else.
Pain persisted so they did a colonoscopy. They found a small infected diverticuli in the ascending colon. More antibiotics (don't remember which ones, I have been on so many the last 6 months)
Pain came back again after antibiotics was done. Got another CT Scan, nothing. The report stated that I have an acessory spleen (why that was reported on the other CT Scans, I don't know) and some disc degeneration, no infection.
For the past two months I am still having the front right ab/pelvic pain and burning and also lower-mid right back pain. I told my family Dr. that it feels like I have a UTI so he sent me for a Urinalysis. Showed a trace of blood and very slighty increased White Blood Cells. He put me on Pyridium and Bactrim. Pyridium seemed to help, Bactrim made me feel sick, but I finished it. As soon as I finished the Pyridium, the pain in front and back came back. I am urinating frequently and waking up at night to go. I drink alot of water.
In addition, the whole right side of my body feels full, aching and bloated, including arm & leg. The pain in my back in consistent and never goes away, the pain in my abdomen/pelvis comes and goes in degree of pain, but never compeletly goes away. I am also very dizzy all the time and my eye sight has gotten worse when I try to read up close.
As of today, I still do not know what is wrong with me, but feel that there is definetly something happening. I am taking acidophilus, cranberry extract and aspirin for the hand circulation issue. I see a chiropracter once a week.
I have a urologist appt. next week and an OBGYN the following week.
I hope there is someone out there who can give me some insight as to what is going on. Please help!!!!
