Recently had several weeks of various symptoms & potential ailments which is unusual for me. I'm generally very healthy, non-smoker, very light drinker, moderate weight, low blood pressure. No history of chronic illnesses. Decided it was time to get a primary care physician (other than gyn.); had physical, baseline blood tests and ekg in late May - - all normal. Then experienced extremem exhaustion, unrelenting headache but no fever. Consensus was I had a virus. Then two weeks ago I ballooned up with water retention and swelling primarily in trunk area and upper thighs. I had gained 8 - 10 lbs over a period of a few days. Only idea was perhaps it was the Mobic I had been taking for approx. 5 weeks. I stopped taking the Mobic on June 21st (2 wks ago). Swelling subsided over the next 10 days with help of 6 days of 40 mg of Lasix daily. All was normal 'til yesterday. Now I'm swelling back up. I'm frustrated with doctor's office as they order tests but appears only the PA reviews them - - the doctor doesn't seem to. I'm concerned something is wrong systemically. Or, could this just be the Mobic taking this long to get out of my system? I'm not urinating much at all ... .this concerns me.
