My 4 and half year old daughter has Lordosis, Emerion of the ankles, Genu Valgum knees, Pronation of both big toes, hypotonia, hyperextension, chronic constipation, sensory issues, uncontrollable "fits" and I believe she has anxiety problems ....
* Merilax for chonic constipation, surestep ankle braces for ankles, toes and knee pain
* OT for sensory issues such as- Strings on toes, runs and hides from loud sounds (movie theatre, fire works, fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, loud truck horns), undergarments not lining up "correctly", food textures, hands/face being wet or dirty, she's unable to feel the sansation of needing to poop but discharged from OT cause made improvements but seems to be regressing atm
* These "fits" are not when being told no or asking to do something. The "fits" happen when something new happens or something out of the ordinary goes on. sometimes I don't even know why they happen! They are when She asks to go outside and on the way out she throws a "fit" that she wants to be inside ... then on way in throws a "fit" that she wants outside. Also when she wakes herself out of a sound sleep, she uses the potty and when it's time to wipe her bumm throws a "fit" that she has to use the potty. even after she's already done so. During these "fits" you can not touch or talk to her at all "No mommy don't touch me". IF you try leaving the room child screams "no mommy come back, please mommy" ... Hate seeing her so upset but she won't let me or her nana do ANYTHING to help her out! As a mother I feel helpless! :( If she gets upset for too long she throws up or pee herself. After a "fit" she's exhausted NATURALLY! "fits" stop as quick as it had come on! Had some that lasted 45mins-an hour! This past week we had 4 "fits" lasting 5-10 minutes like I said some interrupting her sleep! After a session if you ask her what happened she has NO recolection of it at all!
