I`m 23yrs old I have muscle spasms that started in my legs and then over the past 3 years continued all over my body from my face to my abdomen, arms, back, neck, feet, EVERYWHERE! It tires me so much that its hard to get out of bed on some days. The spasms are not painful just tiring. Now, I have started getting frequent cramps in my legs and also chest pain that literally takes my breathe away. They have done a stress test with "normal" results, a Colonoscopy with once again "normal" results with no explanation of the blood found every time i have a Bowel movement I even asked a nurse about possible hemmroids which she replied nothing was found. I also get sick a lot my Immune system doesn`t seem to be as strong as it once was...I`m also really irritable lately which is not me at all! I`m starting to become depressed because I feel like my Doctors are not listening to me because of my age...I haven`t had blood work in 2 yrs however I remember the last time I did just about everything was within the normal range with the exception of my sedimentation rate which was high and My monocytes were well below the normal level...you would think that would kinda tell them a little more about whats going on with me right? Any advice or input would be appreciated! Thanks

  • You need to find an immunologist. If you don't know how to find one, write back, and I'll tell you how to search. It is true that doctors are often not very good at listening to the troubles of young people. But an immunologist will not care what your age is, since immune system problems affect all ages.Write back and tell me what you find.Good luck,Shula
