I was a competitive athlete that had severe pain, distention and difficulty breathing 3 months after a snowboarding accident. MRI, cat scan all negative...almost 4 years later still with un diagnosed pain in upper left quadrant, when I look up spleen issues I have every symptoms. Spent a month of non stop gi tests with only a gastroporesis diagnosis. 2 months into disability and have completely lost my quality of life. Every physical exam points to spleen but 3 MRI test come back negative. Lost a ton of time, money and soon my job if I can't het help. I don't take any pain meds and have been cleared through chiropractors, pt, acupuncturists that say it's visceral and all the visceral docs say it's can't b because the MRI is clear. Any help or guidance would be so appreciated.

And doesn't matter what is the nature of the problem - nervous, vascular or anythig else, the pathology should be located definitely and should be treated properly.Did you check your pancreas, duodenum, small/large intestine? What kind of help did you get from your acupunctirists? I practice acupuncture many years and I know for such cases it is very helpful & effective treatment method. But unfortunately, it is very difficult to find a really good acupuncturist, usually most of them are incompetent. If you send me the acupuncture recipe in terms of TCM given by your acupuncturist I could analyse it and say what's wrong in it.Also, if you want, I can give you my diagnostics.P.S. actually, in my practice (I treat mostly serious chronic diseases), MRI imaging is not so reliable and in some cases can not show pathologic process, only some structural changes, not functional changes. The capabilities of the diagnostics by apparatus are overestimated...

  • Thank you for taking the Time to reply. I'm 36 years old. The MRI and ct scans checked the entire abdominal area including spleen. I had 2 endoscopes, colonoscopy and camera capsule all clear except for gastroparesis, gastritis and sibo. I went to the acupuncturist for 6 months who was highly recommended that only gave me very temporary relief. She highly encouraged I get another opinion. I have also been working with a homeopathic doctor for 4 years who helped me through monthly sickness and said he saw something on the spleen that the radiologist didn't see. He kinesiology tested it and said there is a calcification on the spleen towards the pancreas, but when I go to mainstream medicine to seek help they don't see it on MRI and don't believe it's the spleen at all. I was even open to laproscopic scope but the surgeon doesn't feel he will find anything and is now sending me to a pain management doctor, for which I will not take pain meds. I have to go back to work in a couplenweeks and I feel worse than when I left. I can not even sit up for long periods of time. Any guidance again is so appreciated I'm leveled and praying for someone to help get me back again.QUOTE=alltimatehelp;309998]What's your age?Actually, if you have the problems with your stomach, there are very high probability that you have the problems with your spleen and pancreas too. Any guidance again is so appreciated I'm leveled and praying for someone to help get me back again."but when I go to mainstream medicine to seek help they don't see it on MRI and don't believe it's the spleen at all." = I repeat, in many complicated cases I have treated, there was nothing abnormal in MRI, CT, Xrays & ultrasound images, but patients were very sick. Many complex functional pathologies can not be observed by MRI and other devices."there is a calcification on the spleen towards the pancreas" = it's very valuable & important remark, thank you. It seems that your doctor may be right... This says me more than all other information you gave. I think it can be cured provided that there no any serious problem with connective tissue in your pancreas/spleen (something like fibrosis, etc.) (actually this could be easily seen by MRI, so if they found nothing in MRI, let's assume you don't have such problem).I suppose I can help you. My preliminary prognosis about success of your treatment is relatively good, but I need to analyse your issue more deeply. If you give me your biometrical information: full date of birth (day-month-year), your current weight and height (approx.), your normal blood pressure numbers, and next, will answer my questionnaire about your particular conditions & symptoms (Yes/No), I could give you my full diagnostics&analysis of the reasons of your problems and how to fix it. If you feel uncomfortable to post this personal information on the forum, you can send me by email."I went to the acupuncturist for 6 months who was highly recommended that only gave me very temporary relief. She highly encouraged I get another opinion."= OK. I think she has selected inappropriate treatment strategy for your case. That is why the effectiveness of your treatment was low. After my diagnostics I can give you my acupuncture recipe specifically for your treatment. You can use the help of your acupuncturist for needles insertion into corporal acupuncture points from my recipe or I will tell you how to help you by yourself (on your own) under my permanent control & management (it's very easy, nothing difficult).Anyway, I suppose it's enough about one month of 30 min everyday acupuncture procedures to get significant improvement (eliminate pain symptoms) and several monthly treatment courses to get cured this problem completely. (note: it's only my preliminary estimation based on my practice, because I don't know much about your case yet, after my diagnostics I can say more definitely)Wish you good health & good luck!

  • Do you have a website detailing you and your practice that I can review?QUOTE=alltimatehelp;310039]"but when I go to mainstream medicine to seek help they don't see it on MRI and don't believe it's the spleen at all." = I repeat, in many complicated cases I have treated, there was nothing abnormal in MRI, CT, Xrays & ultrasound images, but patients were very sick.
