On 11/13 I was diagnosed with an e-coli extremely resistent to most antibiotics. It took 6 days to get me on the right meds. Since that time I have had excrutiating back and pelvic pain 24/7. I have had Mri's, Cat-Scans and bloodwork with all results negative. I am now on oxycodene 10/325 to manage me through the pain. I have lost 28lbs and have started sweating profusely upon wakening, sometimes for three hours or more. The UTI has not left my body completely. I have had three urine cultures and although the counts are lower the E-Coli still exists. I have had vaginal infections as well. I have been out of work for three months with no relief. The only thing that happened prior to this infection was a small dog bite which drew blood on my left wrist. The Dr's all seem to think that it's not the cause. Anyone out there have any insight?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
