My left hand has three fingers (ring, pinky, middle) in a frozen bowed position at the DIP and PIP joints. I have had blood work, seen a rheumatologist, neurologist and now hand specialist with no diagnosis or treatment plan to date. I have limited use of left hand. I have a history of osteoarthritis, mild in hands and moderate in spine. lAlso, trigger fingers on Dad's side. I'm very worried with no diagnosis and thus no treatment. Any ideas greatly appreciated??
Thank you!
Al

  • This may be a rare genetic disease called familial amyloid polyneuropathy. I would ask about it. Try here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17443043 And: http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/f/familial_amyloid_polyneuropathy/intro.htm
