my son has been underdiagnosed several times. he suffers from difficulty swallowing, gagging, only eats 3 diff kinds of food, mouth ulcers, bruised palate, excessive drooling, excessive thirst, on the site or smell or touch of some food gags him instantly. all the doctors an therapist say that he's just a picky eater an he'll eat when he's hungry. he would choke on a pacifier as an infant an most nipples. it is like fighting a panther to brush his teeth

  • Have the doctors looked in to him having overly large tonsils and adnoids? My daughter at 18 months had such large ones that it was hard for her to get much more than a pea down her at one time. She would gag easily and they were making her tongue protude out of her mouth a little so that she looked like she had down syndrome. I had them both removed and she recovered with in a couple of days. And it cured her tongue protrusion, gag and swallowing.
