--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi it all started on boxing day i awoke feeling short of breath felt like i was starting to black out, went to ER they done some blood tests come back fine and sent me home.
A week later lying in bed i got major heart pulpatations the next day i started getting tingling on my left arm like pins and needles and tingling on left side of face along with dizzy spells an fataige, i also started to get a tightning around my throat area but lymph nodes were fine.I went to doctor an had a ecg which come back normal he told me every thing was weight related, the tingling sensations stoped, so i started to train an exercise again even tho i still was getting tightning around throat,i had no pulpatations or shortnes of breath for a couple of weeks but still had a tight throat out of frustration i decided to have a few drinks with friends to stop thinking about it that evening while drinking i got this pain in both my shoulders felt like i was holding heavy weights in my hands,in the morning my shortnes of breath was back and realy bad lasting most of the day.ive got my own stethoscope so i started listining to my heart some times its normal dub dub rythem but some times every maybe ten beats it only has first dub them starts new beat
just 4 days ago i started getting a fluttering feeling in my heart which would seem to take my breath away for a couple of secs ,also for a coulple of weeks have been getting burning felling or ache around heart, i awoke last night short of breath feels like im suffocating .It feels like im running out of time please help me

  • Go to doctor and continue going back to doctor as long as you have symptoms so that they know you stil have symptoms. You should have an echocardoigram, an eeg, a stress test at the MINIMUM. get working on this now becoz appts take time. do no hesitate to go back to ER. All will be very dismissive becoz of your age - BE PERSISTENT. My husband had a 99% blocked carotid and suffered a TIA that no one wanted to believe. he sat in a ER for 8 hours becoz no one thought it was an emergency. they admittedly almost sent him home and did not want to do an ultrasound on his carotid artery because of his AGE. And, btw, he was 45. they are going to give you a much harder time. They ended up doing emergency surgery and he is now doing great.

  • very familiar mate, i suffered the same problem and still do, im 26 and have been having problems for four years, iv had all the tests done, all are normal including ecg ultrasound of heart etc, the shortness of breath could be panic related, the reason for this being that you are worried about your symptoms, i still get the symptoms without shortness of breath because i dont panic anymore, the post above is correct, iv seen countless doctors who aren`t interested because of my age, keep at them! check some recent posts, might be familiar

  • no, he did not have tightening around his throat, but he DID have neck pain on the side of the blocked artery, along with losing half the vision in one eye for a minute or 2, a numb elbow that came and went and that was about it.
