I am a 23 year old female with several severe health conditions I believe are related. I was diagnosed with asthma and eczema as a toddler, as well as severe allergies (carry an epi-pen for bees, tree nuts and shellfish). As a child I had some issues with constipation but as I've grown up (15-present) I have more of a problem with frequent diarrhea. At 16 I began having grand-mal seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. Around 19 the seizures stopped, until 2 months ago when I had two seizures back-to-back. I have not had any since then. I do have a history of anorexia and have been on and off medication for depression/anxiety for the past 10 years. Other symptoms I have are severely dry skin, anemia, very weak tooth enamel, hives, random mood swings and poor circulation (hands and feet are pretty much always cold, feet fall REALLY asleep when they fall asleep). I'm in decent shape, maybe a little thinner than I am at my healthiest (5'6, 117 lbs). If anyone knows of anything that could possibly tie all of these things together please help me. I've seen so many doctors over such a long period of time and I really think there's a bigger issue that could make all of this make sense. Thank you for reading.

  • I would look into PCOS. I was diagnosed 20yrs ago/surgery. Ultrasound should also be able to help. May be embarrassing, but worth it. Especially is Mom/Aunts had/have irregular cycles. I have little (like A spot), to NONE. While my Mom, had irregular, but HEAVY cycles. I WAS overdue, just not sure HOW overdue... Research, arm yourself, & fight(if necessary) your Dr for answers/directions NOW, rather than later, like myself. Use WebMD.com sypmtom checker to help.
