I've been chronically ill with varying degrees of fatigue since I was 12 without any type of diagnosis from multiple MDs. My symptoms have been back with a vengance for the past 8 weeks getting progressively worse.
If it's significant, things took a turn for the worst a few years ago when I had a massive, systemic strep infection leading to itching, all of my skin peeling off, and rheumatic fever.

Depression, Anxiety, ADD, & Obesity (all being treated/addressed)

Severe Fatigue
Moderate Generalized Pain
Severe Generalized Itching
Inability to Perform Activities of Daily Living
Not currently suffering from depression
Sore Throat (tonsils removed +2 years ago)
Constantly Running Nose (+10 years)

Current Labs
CRP - severely elevated
Sed Rate - severely elevated
WBC - slightly elevated
Mono - Negetive
ANA - Negetive
Reumatoid Factor - Negetive
Cortisol - normal
Thyroid Function - normal
Not suffering from Strep, Rhinovirus, or Influenza

If anyone have any ideas, please, PLEASE, I'm desperate for any idea. My Dr. diagnosed me with fibromyalga because she couldn't have sense of my labs and symtoms and is sending me to an Infectious Disease Specialist. I've seen two rheumotologists, two primary care MDs, an ENR specialist, and no one can figure out whats wrong. HELP

  • Hi, If you have srverly high SAD rate my research indicates it ie an autoimmune disease. Have you seen a specialist in this field? If not I would ask for a referral to see one. Don't give up, Keep searchin. I have been on my quest for the last seven years and I will not stop untill I get a satisfacory answer. At first my Dr. said mixed connective tissue disease, now it fibromyalgia and STRESS ( stress, What the heck does that mean, I ask????)

  • Okay, please provide me with actual values for the sed rate, CRP and WBC. If an Ig fractionation was performed as well, please state the results. This is not fibromylagia. Best regards, J Cottle, MD
