  • Hi. I am not an expert but I think what you have is a form of herpes, but not the naughty kind! I get cold sores a lot, not dependent on the time of year, but they usually occur when the body is run down. They are often one of the distress signs the body uses to tell us to take it easy and start ooking after ourselves - take more rest, eat a more balanced diet (maybe vitamin and mineral supplements) and reduce your stress levels. For instant relief try Blisteze or Zovirax or ask your local pharmacy for advice. Don't be embarrassed - the photo does not look that bad, and I've had a lot worse. You probably notice it a lot more than others will. I would really recommend speaking with your so they can confirm if that's what it is, but I really don't think you have to be worried/embarrased about. Hope you get it cleared up. God Bless.:)

  • I think I would agree. I am no doctor, but it kind of looks like oral herpes. Does yours have any triggers? Sunlight, stress? You shouldn't be embarrassed about it though. I would suggest getting it looked at by a doctor. Best of Luck, Christi.

  • Although, it could just be a regular cold sore. Never know til it is looked at by a doctor. Good luck, Christi.
