My daughter is 16 1/2 yrs. old and has been passing out since the age of 9. Doctors have done lots of tests over the last 7 years and still we have no answers. We have only been told to give her orange juice when she comes to. I have listed every symptom she has in hopes that someone will notice something. Here is what happens within minutes before and after she passes out. She cant describe exactly how she first feels but said she feels wierd. Then she gets a headache, gets dizzy and passes out. She is out for only 1 minute or so. She then wakes up and vomits and then she is tired and sore all day. Now, here are some other symptoms she has been having. She was potty trained at 2 but has been bedwetting since the age of 4 and doctors think she may have hydronephrosis (could this be connected). She had abdominal pain from the age of 9 and muscle cramps in her legs. Heavy periods every 2 wks lasting 5 days each since the age of 12. At the age 14 I finally put her on birthcontrol pills to regulate that. She is otherwise normal and happy with no medical problems. Help!!!!

  • Is she still having the enuresis? Why don't they know if she's got hydronephrosis? That's not difficult to diagnose. Now,about her passing out:it sounds to me like she's having some type of seizure.Has she had an EEG or MRI scan of her brain?

  • Have you tried epilepsy? There are a few rare cases where it can manifest as stomach issues, but it could be a brain wave issue, do these episodes have a pattern or any type of trigger? id have a long talk with a neurologist.
