Well, over the past 2 years I have gained about a foot in height, and have been unable to gain ANY weight. At one point I was eating over 4000 calories a day, but all this did was keep me from losing more weight. At about the same time my weight problems started, I also began to experience loss of my distance vision ability. In 2 years I have gone from20/20 vision to 20/100.I am aware that my weight is dangerously low, but I have tried everything possible to gain weight. I have worked out, added protein shakes to my 3 standard meals, and done everything I can possibly think of. The doctors can't diagnose me, so any theories from you would be appreciated.
